The latest offerings at Stratus Rooftop Lounge are, well, pretty stratospheric.
The dramatic bar on the top of the Hotel Monaco offers something for everyone.
Industry Wednesdays bring music by Montone with food and drink specials all night. House Thursdays rolls out deep house DJs starting at 9 p.m., with Adrian Hardy lined up for May 21 and Vikter Duplaix lined up for May 28.
On Sundays, Stratus launches “brunch with a twist,” a prix-fixe Sunday funday party.
For $50 per person, the “interactive” brunch with live music includes all you can eat from the dim-sum food stations (think fish tacos and banh mi sandwiches, sushi, flatbreads, popcorns and desserts) and two drink tickets to be used in the signature mimosa/bellini, bloody Mary, margarita and house cocktail carts.
In addition to all of that, the bar has introduced its spring menus for food and cocktails.
Bright and light fare is now on offer from executive chef Jorge Chicas, including the likes of watermelon salad with pistachios and Wagyu beef tartare.
To drink, new summery options include a “Dates Gone Wild,” with Wild Turkey Rye, date syrup, lemon juice and Peychaud bitters, and “Jalapen’Yo Face” with pineapple-infused Herraduro Blanco, lime and mint.
