• Revolutionary Germantown Festival
During the Revolutionary War’s Battle of Germantown on October 4, 1777, Washington’s troops faced off against the British redcoats to liberate occupied Philadelphia. Commemorate this epic event with historical reenactments, family entertainment, museum tours, beer, food and more.

• Ambler Oktoberfest
Experience the best of Ambler, PA during this 24th annual celebration, complete with kids’ rides, a beer garden, live music, arts and crafts vendors, restaurant samplings, business specials and food truck cuisine.

• Riverfront Ramble
UPDATE: This festival has been postponed, date TBD. Radio personality Patty Jackson hosts this annual Chester musical extravaganza, with performances by talent like Freddie Jackson, Blind Date Band, North Philly Funk Band, Lenny Williams and more. Tons of food, crafts vendors and a fireworks display will round out the day’s offerings.

UPDATE: This festival has been postponed until Saturday, October 10. Roxborough hosts its third annual Roxtoberfest, with beer tastings from local home brewers, a beer garden, a special neighborhood Oktoberfest brew, acclaimed musical performers, carnival games and much, much more.

• Morris Arboretum Fall Festival
With a make-your-own-scarecrow station, pumpkin painting and apple tasting, this weekend-long festival is a celebration of all things autumn. Be sure to check out the live animal guests from the Elmwood Park Zoo and the LEGO version of Robert Indiana’s iconic LOVE sculpture.

• 35th Annual Media Food & Crafts Festival
UPDATE: This festival has been postponed until Sunday, October 11. Head to Media for a day of fun with food from 40 restaurants, handmade wares from 75 craft vendors, live music and kid-friendly games and activities.

• Art-Reach Fall Festival
All year long, Art-Reach engages disabled and disadvantaged community members via the arts. The group’s third annual festival celebrates this important work with food, drinks, live music, art-making activities and games for attendees of all ages.
