Roundup: Five Fantastic Fall Festivals Coming To Philadelphia This Weekend

In celebration of all-things autumn, Philadelphia neighborhoods and attractions roll out fall festivals this weekend complete with pumpkins, scarecrows, fall garden displays, hayrides and more.

This weekend, there are a number of great festivals happening at places like Peddler’s Village, the PHS Pop-Up Gardens and Clark Park.

PHS Harvest Fest

Held over three days at the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s two pop-up gardens, 15th and South streets and 9th and Wharton streets, the PHS Harvest Fest is a family-friendly celebration of the season. Enjoy live music, crafts, kid-friendly activities, garden displays, quizzo hosted by Johnny Goodtimes and much more during the weekend festivities.

When: September 18-20
Where: PHS Pop-Up Gardens at 15th and South streets & 9th and Wharton streets

Scarecrow Festival at Peddler’s Village

Fall fun takes the stage at Peddler’s Village this weekend as the annual Scarecrow Festival returns with pumpkin painting, pumpkin pie-eating contests, live music, family-friendly activities and scarecrow making workshops. While at the festival, stroll the grounds and check out Scarecrow Competition and Display — don’t forget to vote for your favorite!

Clark Park Music and Arts Festival

From noon to sundown on September 19, the Clark Park Music and Arts Festival brings local musicians to the stage for free performances all day long. Children are invited to create crafts at stations throughout the park, and adults are encouraged to browse fine goods from local artists and vendors.

Mid-Autumn Festival at the Chinatown Friendship Gate

Chinatown’s mid-autumn festival hits the city for its 20th anniversary this year and brings with it a lantern parade through Chinatown, live music, games, a dragon dance and more.

When: Saturday, September 19
Where: 10th and Arch streets

Pumpkinland at Linvilla Orchards

All fall long, Linvilla Orchards hosts Pumpkinland, a display that celebrates all-things fall. Guests can look forward to more than 100 tons of pumpkins, hayrides, apple picking, cornfield mazes, face painting and more.

When: Through November 8
