Heads up, you lovers of outdoor treasure hunting: this Saturday marks the return of Franklin Flea outdoor market — and it’s the final open-air Flea of the season.
The finely curated Philadelphia-centric market returns Saturday, October 24 to set up shop outdoors at Headhouse Plaza for one more date this fall before taking an autumn hiatus.
This weekend, dozens of hand-picked vendors will peddle high-end goods, apparel and eats in the plaza adjacent to the Shambles at Headhouse Square.
Shoppers can look forward to the Franklin Flea standard of super-high-quality vendors selling a finely tuned selection of antiques and vintage clothing, handmade decorative arts, jewelry and up-cycled furniture.
As with past markets, food vendors are on the lineup, too, so no shopper will go hungry.
And no need to fret that this is the final Franklin Flea of 2015. This Saturday is the last open-air market, but the Franklin Flea will return to the historic Strawbridge’s Building beginning Saturday, November 21.
For five Saturdays this fall, November 21, 28 and December 5, 12, 19 the market will set up shop indoors in the historic Center City Philadelphia building at 8th and Market streets — right next door to Century 21 department store.
Happy shopping, folks.
