Best Places To Watch The New Year’s Eve Fireworks In Philly

At 6 p.m. and midnight on New Year’s Eve, the city celebrates the end of 2015 with two giant fireworks shows of the Delaware River.

On New Year’s Eve, the Philadelphia skies are home to not one, but two spectacular fireworks shows high above Penn’s Landing — the first at 6 p.m. and the second at midnight. Presented by SugarHouse Casino, the dazzling show illuminates the sky above the Delaware River on the final night of 2015.

There are a number of great spots and parties to check out the fireworks including La Peg at Fringe Arts, Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest and Race Street Pier.

Can’t make it down to the waterfront? No worries. For the first time ever, the fireworks will be broadcast at midnight on large screens around town including at the Lit Brothers Building, Commerce Square and on the cube at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.

Read on for a where-to-watch guide for Philadelphia’s New Year’s Eve fireworks.
