Top New Year’s Eve Concerts And Parties With Live Music In Philadelphia

If you’re looking to celebrate New Year’s Eve 2015/2106 by dancing until the wee hours, we’ve got you covered.

From a blowout cabaret show with sweet views of the fireworks to a sophisticated orchestral concert in Center City, we’ve rounded up a slew of New Year’s Eve concerts and events with great live music all taking place on Thursday, December 31.

To ring in the new year, there will once again be two sets of spectacular free fireworks at 6 p.m. and midnight. Leading up to the pyrotechnics, celebrate by jamming out to live music and getting down on the dance floor.

Party Through The Decades at SugarHouse Casino

In addition to presenting both New Year’s Eve fireworks shows, SugarHouse Casino is also a destination for explosive fun on December 31. SugarHouse’s Party Through The Decades: New Year’s Eve 2016 features an open bar, live entertainment, champagne toast at midnight and private viewing area for the fireworks extravaganza over the Delaware River.

The Philadelphia Orchestra New Year’s Eve Concert

Ring in the New Year with Yannick Nézet-Séguin and The Philadelphia Orchestra. Start your New Year’s Eve celebration with the Fabulous Philadelphians and say goodbye to 2015. The concert ends before midnight, so you’ll still be able to catch Philadelphia’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks on the Delaware River!

New Year’s Funkin’ Eve at FringeArts

FringeArts says goodbye to 2015 with a funky celebration featuring live music, beer garden fire pits, balloons and more. Starting at 11 p.m., celebrate at La Peg before watching the midnight fireworks over the Delaware River — the view from the waterfront vantage point will be sweet. After the show, head back inside and dance the night away.

City Rhythm Orchestra at the Hilton at Penn’s Landing

Party the night away and take in the awesome SugarHouse New Year’s Eve Fireworks on the Waterfront from the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing as part of its City Rhythm Orchestra New Year’s Eve Party Celebration, which includes a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, a four-course dinner and a midnight champagne toast — plus a great view of the midnight fireworks.
