Celebrate Easter Sunday On South Street With Free, Family-Friendly Fun

This Sunday, join the Easter Bunny, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cottontail and other special guests for one of Philadelphia’s oldest and most celebrated traditions.

The Philadelphia Easter Promenade returns for the 85th year. The festivities begin at 12:30 p.m. at the corner of 5th and South streets with a parade that will march down to Headhouse Square. There, the fun continues with live music and fun-filled entertainment.

And that’s not all! Kids, adults and even four-legged friends can don their Sunday best to compete for Best Dressed contests in twelve categories ranging from girls 2-5 years old to men 20+ years old to costumed pets. Plus, loads of South Street eateries will offer special deals for Easter Sunday brunch.
