Art Star Craft Bazaar Returns To Penn’s Landing For Mother’s Day Weekend

A finely curated selection of 125 vendors will set up shop this weekend for the spring edition of the Art Star Craft Bazaar, May 7-8.

One of Philly’s most exceptional outdoor craft bazaars is back for its 13th year, just in time for Mother’s Day.

With more than 125 local and national artists selected to set up shop outdoors for two days at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing, May 7-8, the annual spring Art Star Craft Bazaar definitely won’t disappoint.

Rain or shine, shoppers can expect super high-quality goods that stay true to Art Star Gallery & Boutique’s awesomely quirky aesthetic, with items ranging from prints and sculptures to housewares, clothing, jewelry, paper goods, toys, accessories and tons of one-of-a-kind curiosities.

What To See, Eat and Do

Boutique owners and festival curators Erin Waxman and Megan Brewster of Art Star cull through entries to their festival to curate a selection of vendors that represent a diverse array of mediums and accommodate a wide range of budgets (read: this event offers the chance to score affordable art).

The event also includes a program of make-and-take crafting like stamp carving and screen printing, live music and DJs, and a range of local food vendors. Also, a photo booth will be onsite for commemorative photos (with Mom, of course).

Traditional fair food will be available, but also look for locally sourced fare from Soy Cafe, Poi Dog Snack Shop and Oink and Moo BBQ on Saturday), and Sum Pig Food Truck and Kung Fu Hoagies on Sunday.

Plus, the first 150 guests to arrive each day will receive a free tote bag, which includes $5 Art Star Bucks and little treats.
