Long Weekend Picks: Martin Luther King Jr. Day Events, Big Philly Beerfest, Radio 104.5 Winter Jam And More

The top ways to spend your long weekend in Philly...

It’s another long weekend in Philadelphia, which means cool exhibitions, fun museum events, festivals, concerts and more.

Monday, January 16 marks Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a holiday that celebrates the life and legacy of the civil rights icon. Attractions and museums throughout Philly celebrate King with everything from free museum admission to special movie screenings.

On both Saturday and Sunday, craft beer fills the Pennsylvania Convention Center for the annual Big Philly Beerfest, one of the first beer festivals in Philly this year. Enjoy tastes of more than 350 beers from more than 125 breweries.

In celebration of the holiday, we’re extending our Weekend Picks post through Monday. Be sure to follow Uwishunu on Instagram and Twitter for updates throughout the weekend.
