Eclectic performances by some of Philadelphia’s best-loved dance companies take over the Avenue of the Arts during the fourth annual Come Together Dance Festival, which runs from August 16 to 20 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre.

  • The Come Together Dance Festival runs August 16-20 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre.
  • The fest features five nights of performances and works from 41 dance companies.
  • Tickets range from $35 for a single ticket ($23 for students) to a five-night festival pass for $99.
  • Festival-goers can come early for a happy hour before each show.

Presented by Koresh Dance Company and now in its fourth year, this dance celebration has expanded in 2017 to include 41 local, regional and national dance companies showcasing an awesome mix of dance styles ranging from hip-hop to ballet.

Leading Philadelphia troupes headline each night. Brian Sanders’ JUNK, Koresh Dance Company, Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers, PHILADANCO!, Rennie Harris Puremovement, Ballet Inc. and Just Sole! Street Dance Theater Company will share the stage with emerging choreographers like Asya Zlatina, Ani Gavino and Megan Flynn.

Each night features a totally different lineup of exciting performers, with over 100 dancers in dozens of different pieces taking the stage across the fest’s five days. Every jam-packed night of entertainment has at least seven different acts over its 90-minute running time.
