Long Weekend Picks: Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Center City Restaurant Week, Eagles Playoff Game And More

Enjoy a busy winter weekend full of fun things to do...

Philadelphia, it’s (kind of) warming up! Celebrate the relatively nicer weather — and the long weekend — with dozens of great things to do in the City of Brotherly Love this weekend.

The super-popular Center City Restaurant Week kicks off Sunday with deals on three-course dinners (and lunches, at participating restaurants) at more than 100 Center City dining destinations.

Ice skating, tasty winter delights and more await all weekend (including Monday) at Dilworth Park Wintergarden and Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest, two of the city’s main winter attractions.

Get excited: The Philadelphia Eagles return to the field in the NFC Divisional Playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday in South Philly. Other sporting events this weekend: The Philadephia 76ers play a matinee game on Monday and the Temple Owls play Memphis on Saturday.

On Monday, January 15, Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebrates the legacy of the prominent civil rights icon with the biggest service day of its kind in the country as well as celebrations (and admissions deals!) at museums and attractions like the National Liberty Museum and the National Constitution Center.
