Beep beep: The Philadelphia Auto Show is cruising into town January 27 to February 4!

Taking place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, the massive nine-day event offers attendees the chance to explore the automotive industry’s latest creations and get a glimpse of more than 700 concept, classic, luxury and exotic cars.

In addition to creating a world of auto eye candy, events of all sorts are scheduled for the show, including chances to test drive select vehicles, enjoy live musical performances, partake in celebrity meet-and-greets and more.

A tradition since 1902, the Philadelphia Auto Show brings the best in automotive design to the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Here, attendees will have the opportunity to sit in the vehicles, learn about the cars from industry experts and test drive select models from BMW, Jeep and more.

The featured cars this year include some of the newest models out there as well as exotic cars from makers including Porsche and McLaren.

Also on the docket: talks with other auto-enthusiasts, impressive photos ops with your favorite shiny models and more.

Ride and Drives

Those looking to take their auto show experience to the next level can partake in a Ride and Drive, a demo that enables attendees to get behind the wheel of select models from BMW, Kia, Mazda, Volkswagen and Toyota and head out to the city streets.

Plus, right on the show floor, visitors can head to Camp Jeep, where five models can be experienced indoors.

Hollywood Rides

With its Hollywood Rides display, the Auto Show welcomes you to check out some of the movie industry’s most iconic automobiles.

On view this year: the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine, “K.I.T.T” from Night Rider, a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner used by Vin Diesel in Furious 7 and more.

Black Tie Tailgate

Get a preview of the 2018 Philadelphia Auto Show as you dine and dance among the finest automobiles in the world at the Black Tie Tailgate.

The annual gala features an open bar, live music and food, including a sushi station, a taco station, a slider bar, a farm table and more.

Proceeds from the event benefit The Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania. Tickets are available online.

Ticketing & Getting There

Tickets can be purchased in advance online (recommended) or at the on-site box office.

For those coming in from the suburbs, the Pennsylvania Convention Center is located mere blocks from the SEPTA Jefferson Station; take any regional rail line to the station and follow signs for the Convention Center.

Plenty of parking will be available in garages around the Convention Center, too, and for those hopping on Indego bike share, there is a docking station at 1321 Arch Street.
