Weekend Picks: Center City District Restaurant Week, Ben Franklin Birthday Celebrations And More

Step out and enjoy more than 55 things to do in Philly this winter weekend...

Philadelphia, it’s warming up a bit — just in time for you to enjoy a stellar weekend full of fun things to do throughout the city.

Center City District Restaurant Week continues this weekend (including Saturday night!), offering meal deals at more than 120 restaurants in the heart of the city.

It was also Ben Franklin’s 312th birthday this week. Celebrate with Ben Franklin himself at either a special edition of a Tippler’s Tour through the Historic District or at One Liberty Observation Deck, which offers free morning admission on Saturday and photo opps with the Founding Father.

The city’s premier winter attractions — Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest and Dilworth Park Wintergarden — are still going strong, offering opportunities to ice skate, enjoy fun food and drink and more.

And, of course, the Philadelphia Eagles are just one win away from the Super Bowl as they take on the Minnesota Vikings in South Philly on Sunday. Have tickets? We’re jealous. If not, Philly’s sports bars have you covered.
