Weekend Picks: Philly Wine Week, Shofuso Japanese House Opening Weekend, Easter Events And More

Enjoy the first official weekend of spring with these fun things to see and do...

The snow is already melting, so it seems OK to say: Goodbye winter, hello spring! From Easter egg hunts to the opening of seasonal attractions, Philly is the place to be this weekend.

Philly Wine Week is back to whet the appetites of wine aficionados with wine tastings and special dinners. Whether you’re a novice or expert sommelier, Philly Wine Week has the perfect glass for your sipping pleasure.

Fairmount Park’s lush Shofuso Japanese House and Garden opens its verdant doors for the season this weekend. Visitors are invited to tour the house and feed the koi fish that swim in the pond as well as explore the grounds.

Philly sports fans are in for a treat this weekend as the Philadelphia 76ers continue their playoff push against a competitive Minnesota Timberwolves team at the Wells Fargo Center.

And this weekend also welcomes Easter events for the whole family like the East Passyunk Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Family Fun Day at the American Swedish Historical Museum.
