One of the biggest events of the year in the Northwest Philly neighborhood, the StrEAT Food Festival brings a huge — and hungry! — crowd to Manayunk.
Craving something sweet or something savory? Tastebud satisfaction is guaranteed at this food festival, thanks to the variety of food trucks, vendors and participating local restaurants.
Fill up with fare from one of dozens of food trucks, like Baby Blues BBQ, The Cow and The Curd, Dos Hermanos Tacos, Humpty’s Dumplings, Nomad Pizza Co, Milk + Sugar and many more. Special gourmet vendors, including The Tot Cart, The Spicy Belly and Poi Dog Philly, make deciding what to feast on first no simple task.
Craft Manayunk, Taqueria Feliz, Jake’s and Cooper’s Wine Bar and other local brick-and-mortar eateries take part in the festival as well.
In addition to serving tasty specialties, some vendors will feature creative dishes incorporating a special spring ingredient: strawberries!

Traveling to Manayunk is easy. Attendees can hop on SEPTA’s Manayunk/Norristown line for a quick, hassle-free commute to Manayunk by train, which drops passengers off just one block from the action on Main Street.
For those who would rather travel by car, I-76 or Kelly Drive are the best bets, though parking will be at a premium. Also, no vehicles will be permitted on Main Street to make strolling from vendor to vendor easy during the festival.
Make sure to bring an appetite!
