Center City District Sips Offers Neighborhood-Wide Happy Hours All Summer Long

Center City District Sips is set to return for its 15th summer of unbeatable post-work, mid-week happy hours. On Wednesday evenings from June 6 to August 29, over 90 bars and restaurants in Center City serve up hard-to-beat drink and food deals — with some new surprises for 2018.

CENTER CITY DISTRICT SIPS FAST FACTS

  • Center City Sips happy hours take place from June 6 to August 29 on Wednesday evenings from 5 to 7 p.m.
  • Deals include $6 cocktails, $5 glasses of wine, $4 glasses of beer and half-priced appetizers.
  • More than 90 restaurants and bars in Center City participate.
  • New this year: Select Sips patrons offer 15 percent off dinner after happy hour.

Get together with friends for the happiest of happy hours at participating bars and restaurants and score $4 glasses of beer, $5 glasses of wine, $6 cocktails and half-priced appetizers from 5 to 7 p.m.

New for 2018, more than 25 establishments — including Bellini Grill, James, Maison 208, Square 1682 and more — invite Sips patrons to stay after happy hour ends and enjoy 15 percent off dinner.

Other activities to consider post-Sips: Every Wednesday is pay-what-you-wish night at the Philadelphia Museum of Art from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. And The Franklin Institute’s Game Masters exhibit — which features over 100 video games for visitors to play — stays open until 9 p.m. starting Thursday, July 5.
