Weekend Picks: Bastille Day Festival, Pizzadelphia Pizza Festival, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Taylor Swift & More

Get pumped for more than 55 stellar things to do this weekend...

Get ready, Philly: It’s time for another epic weekend in the city.

Philadelphia goes all out for Bastille Day, with huge festivals, block parties, dinners and more. The main event: Eastern State Penitentiary’s 24th — and final! — Bastille Day Festival, which commemorates the storming of the Bastille by French revolutionaries with a highly anticipated cabaret show and 2,000 Butterscotch Krimpets that rain down on the crowd.

On the music front, the Vans Warped Tour visits the Philly region on its last-ever tour on Friday, and Ms. Lauryn Hill, Kevin Hart and Taylor Swift all make Philly stops on their tours this weekend.

Phoenixville’s Blobfest, the popular (and free!) 40th Street Summer Series in University City and the Pizzadelphia Pizza Festival are also on tap.
