How To Do The Holidays At City Hall In Philadelphia

A complete guide to festive things to do at City Hall this holiday season...

One of the main hubs of holiday cheer in Philadelphia is City Hall, where crowds gather all season long to enjoy some of the city’s most beloved winter attractions.

Dilworth Park transforms into a bustling winter wonderland featuring the shimmering Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink, the cozy Rothman Orthopaedics Cabin and evergreen-filled Wintergarden.

Both the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market in Dilworth Park and the Christmas Village in LOVE Park delight holiday shoppers searching for original and creative gifts for friends and loved ones.

And the Philly Holiday Tree stands tall at The Met Holiday Plaza located on the north end of City Hall. The official tree-lighting celebration on November 28 is sure to draw an audience eager to see the giant, decked-out white fir light up for the first time.

All the goings-on are part of the Philly Holiday Festival, a citywide collaboration of more than 20 holiday happenings in Center City, Old City, Fairmount Park and beyond. The fest is presented by One Liberty Observation Deck.

Read on for our guide to all of the holiday happenings to check out at City Hall this year.
